Banza Pasta is a well-known pasta brand created out of chickpeas. I have worked with Banza sampling their products and have seen some ads via Instagram and other social media platforms. I believe that it is time shake some things up and bring in some personalized characters, and other brand assets to these ad campaigns. Banza offers multiple pasta styles, and I will incorporate those as brand assets. These ads will create buzz, hype, and traffic towards the Banza brand as it will be targeted towards Millennials and Gen Z. The characters will have longevity and the ability to evolve.
Social media campaign: Banza will have a month long challenge to pick the noodle of the year. Users will post a picture with one of the 4 noodle choices using the hashtag #chickpeachallenge as well as one of the following: #lennysagna #bentie #rickatoni or #shelly
Concept: By creating more buzz and characters to go along with each pasta type, users will become more engaged with Banza pasta and the #chickpeachallenge. All of the users that participated and voted for the winning noodle will be entered in a giveaway for a year’s worth supply of Banza noodles.
